Extinction Rebellion America is working to compel governments to do what's necessary to prevent the complete breakdown of earth's natural life-support systems. Our strategy has two aspects: mass mobilization and nonviolent, disruptive civil disobedience (NVCD). Mass mobilization means increasing the number of people participating in the Rebellion for Life until we can't be ignored. NVCD means keeping up a regular program of disruptive actions that raise public awareness, attract new people to the rebellion, give us practice in real NVCD, and eventually allow us to escalate to mass disruption that will compel our governments to negotiate with us and meet our demands. The XRA Cascadia Coalition chapter has a great opportunity to have a private Q&A session about XRA strategy with Roger Hallam, one of the co-founders of Extinction Rebellion in the UK, and XR World.
